I'm testing our implementation of Power BI Report Server (March 2018). I elected to try the "Edit in Power BI Desktop" button on the web portal. I made a cosmetic change to the report, and then saved it. I know that it saves directly on the server. The page did not refresh, so I clicked on the Refresh button, but still nothing happend. No refresh, no reload of the entire page. Nothing.
I clicked on the breadcrumb link to go back to the folder that contains the report. I would expect it to refresh, but it did not. I had to reload the entire page in order for the Modfied date field to change. Then when I clicked on the link for the report, it reloaded the report and I was able to see my changes.
What is the purpose of the Refresh button on the report page?
