Power BI file Download option disable

Power BI report is pointing dataset from other workspace, this file is not enable to download file.

  • I am pretty sure this scenario is covered by the long list of "Considerations and Limitations".  You should focus on storing your PBIX on SharePoint (where you get free versioning)  or transitioning to PBIP and Github integration.

    Hi aku4713 ,

First of all, many thanks to lbendlin  for your very quick and effective replies, the official documentation already states that downloading .pbix files is not supported in this case.

For more details, you could read related document: Download a report from the Power BI service to Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

we tryied Save as copy that was allowing to download but that was not having source details. Source was blank when we are opening report on desktop.
