Power BI Service Disabled Refresh

Based on my understanding of the error details you have shared, the issue you are experiencing in Power BI Service is most likely due to missing or outdated credentials for one or more data sources in your published dataset.

Please follow the steps below which may help to resolve the issue:

1. Open the dataset settings in the Power BI Service workspace (via https://app.powerbi.com).
2. Under “Data source credentials,” identify any sources showing warnings and click on “Edit credentials.”
3. Enter the correct credentials again using the appropriate authentication method.
4. If your data is sourced from on-premises systems, kindly ensure that a Power BI Gateway is installed and configured correctly (this setup may require intervention from your vendor).
5. Once all credentials have been updated successfully, navigate to the “Scheduled refresh” section and re-enable automatic refresh.

Since your Power BI Service setup is managed by a vendor, we recommend that you request your vendor’s Power BI administrator to verify and update the data source credentials and gateway mapping as necessary.

Im not sure why I am getting these responses from a posting months ago, sorry for the confusion, but this matter has been resovlved months ago. Thank You.

I would check that the service account used in the data source connection has access to the source and the credentials are correct.
