Power BI Reporting Server with SQL Server 2016 databases

Hi All, 

 

 

Is it possible to connect SQL Server 2016 databases with Power BI reporting server besides SSAS? 

The video shows that we have to connect to  SSAS for Power BI Report Server. (Jun 6, 2017 )
