Power BI Report Server On-Premises SQL Standard licensing

Hello,

I have a very simple question. I most probably know the answer, but I just want to be 100 % sure. Is it sufficient to have  MS SQL Server Standard license to get Power BI Report Server license, or is  Enterprise version required in this case ?

Thanks in advance.

You need Enterprise with Software Assurance. Enterprise alone is not enough.

Or you can purchase a premium capacity, then you are licensed to have the same number of cores on-prem as you have licensed for premium.
