When we upgraded to Sept 2021 version we noticed that the Data Source's Save button is disabled unless we modify all credentials. The developers that have many data sources are complaining that they need to update them all. I told them that in the previous versions it allowed you to update one and save it but it seemed to break the other credentials. So this "new feature" was a way to force them to update them all before saving. Am I correct? If so, they would still like to know why that is and if there are plans to "fix" this in future releases?

My version is 1.12.7936.39665(September 2021). Not sure if that makes a difference.
Found it...
• Version: 1.12.7977.29537
Fixed issue where PBIX data sources couldn't be edited if more than one existed.
Hi @Tebrad ,
I refer to the official documentation for the September update and I do not find any updates in the data source and dataset for the September release. The issue you are describing, is it in the URL of Report Server or in Power BI Desktop for Report Server? Are you able to share your screenshots, keeping in mind to remove confidential data.
Best Regards
Lucien
