Is there any information on the release schedule for Power BI Desktop for Report Server and what features from Power BI Desktop will be merged with the RS version of PBI Desktop in the next release? ...
Hi Vicky - the PowerBI Desktop for report server will release at the same time/in-sync with the server to maintain 100% compatibility between them. The PowerBI Report Server will officially release into production around 3 times per year and typically match the features/functionality of that month's release of PowerBI Desktop for Cloud. You can see a bit more on the support timelines page here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/reportserver-support-timeline/. Also, stay tuned to the team's blog which shares new information about preview releases and feature updates at https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/sqlrsteamblog/
