Paginated report: Empty pages if column group has more than 1 value

Dear community,

I'm using tablix for a paginated report:

Months (in column group) can be selected as a parameter (Jan - Dec):

It works fine if only 1 month is selected, but if more than 1 are selected preview still looks fine, but there's an empty page after every page.

Page break for groups is disabled:

Page size and text body size is set correctly.

This option is disabled:

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, @Powerwoman

1. Check the page size and margins
Make sure the page size and margins are set correctly to fit the content. If the content exceeds the page size, it will cause an extra page to be created.
On the Report menu, click Report Properties.
Check the Page Width and Page Height settings.
Verify the margin settings. Make sure the content (including the tablix) does not exceed the width and height after subtracting the margins.
2. Check the size and position of the Tablix
Make sure the size of the tablix fits within the page dimensions, taking into account the margins:
Select the Tablix in the designer.
In the Properties window, check the width and height of the Tablix.
Make sure the tablix is not too wide or too tall, so that it overflows onto an extra page.
3. Verify column widths
Make sure the total width of all columns does not exceed the page width minus the margins:
In the Tablix, right-click the column header and select Column Width.
Adjust the width of each column so that their total width fits within the printable area of the page.
4. Check for unwanted page breaks
Even though you mentioned that the page break option is disabled, confirm that there are no unexpected page breaks or spacing issues:
Right-click the row group in the row group pane and select Group Properties.
Make sure the page break option is not selected.
Do the same for the column group and tablix properties.
5. Adjust the Keep Together settings
Make sure the Keep Together settings are configured correctly:
Select the tablix and right-click, then go to Tablix Properties.
If you have a lot of data that may span multiple pages, make sure to uncheck Keep on same page if possible.
6. Check for hidden or empty rows
Sometimes hidden or empty rows can cause extra page breaks:
Make sure there are no hidden rows that may expand or cause extra spacing.
Delete any empty rows in the Tablix.
7. Group using a rectangle
If none of the above steps solve the problem, try placing the Tablix inside a rectangle:
From the Toolbox, drag a rectangle control onto the report.
Place the tablix inside the rectangle.
Set the properties of the rectangle to avoid extra spacing or page breaks.
