Hi guys,
I have a table like this
Date | isYTD | Value |
2022-01-01 | 1 | 50 |
2022-02-01 | 1 | 50 |
2022-03-01 | 1 | 50 |
2022-04-01 | 1 | 50 |
2022-05-01 | 1 | 50 |
2022-06-01 | 1 | 50 |
2022-07-01 | 0 | 50 |
2022-08-01 | 0 | 50 |
2022-09-01 | 0 | 50 |
2022-10-01 | 0 | 50 |
2022-11-01 | 0 | 50 |
2022-12-01 | 0 | 50 |
and as i want to have is a result something like this (taking into account that i'm selectin June as a YTD)
Measure | Total | 2022-01 | 2022-02 | 2022-03 | 2022-04 | 2022-05 | 2022-06 | 2022-07 | 2022-08 | 2022-09 | 2022-10 | 2022-11 | 2022-12 |
Value | 300 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 |
To create the values by month is very easy i have created a formula like
iif(isYTD =1, value, nothing)
so for that the months after june are completly in blank. The problem is the total, that i can't summarize only when YTD is = 1 and it gives me a 50x12 that it is not correct.
i know that i can calculate a calculated field that filter by that, the issue is that i have 250 different measures and that should means 250 new calculated field to do that and maybe it is not the best options
something that i have tried but it doesnt work
- i have created another group for the years, another for the month and then filter the group month by isYTD=1.
Measure | Total | 2022-01 | 2022-02 | 2022-03 | 2022-04 | 2022-05 | 2022-06 | 2022-07 | 2022-08 | 2022-09 | 2022-10 | 2022-11 | 2022-12
2022-01 | 2022-02 | 2022-03 | 2022-04 | 2022-05 | 2022-06
Value | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 |
and the months seems to be correct, and mi idea was to create a total from that months.. and then hide the columns but it doesnt work becasue the total ignore the isYTD.
Can someone help me on this
