Not receiving email message to signup for a PowerBI account

Hello, since yesterday I have been trying to activate a PowerBI account with my work address with no success. Today I checked my emails again hoping it would be in my inbox and nothing and I also checked my spam folder as well.  my work address is aCook@pcci.edu. It seems like Microsoft is not sending me the email in order to make my account. 

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried with another email address ?

You should try with the address of someone else within the same organization (*pcci.edu) but also with your personal adress (gmail or outlook).

I also have a ".edu" email address and I had no problem to create the account.

I have and none of them work. it requires the value to be a work email, personal one do not work. Power BI is a great tool but it will not connect to our database and I can not share the reports I made so I had to move on to other software that could connect and do the same thing.
