New upgraded app doesnot allow us to hide report from navigation pane but still give access to users

We upgraded the app but it doesnot allow us to hide reports from navigation pane but still give access to users. We had created 1 report that linked all other reports within app. But now, in navigation app we see all reports. We just want to see 1 home page report. Any suggestions how to do so?

I realised in early time of upgrading, it was allowed but now access to report is not allowed if report is hidden in audience group. Earlier it was not the case. Access should not depend on navigation pane hidden or not?
