Hey Experts, Afternoon!
I have a PBI gateway connection to Navision, at the same time everyday it becomes slow for users because of Power BI. I've also already tried spacing the refresh schedules out.
I can see the CPU & Memory usage and it becomes extremely high, how would I go about fixing this or has anyone had this issue before?
Many Thanks,
Taylor

Consult the Gateway QueryStart and QueryExecution logs to identify the culprits (QueryExecution) and the queries they are running (QueryStart)
Hi @Ttaylor9870 ,
Thank you for @lbendlin answer ,and I have other suggestions for you:
Adjust gateway performance based on server CPU | Microsoft Learn, this information is provided, please run the Power BI gateway on a different computer than the Navision server
The gateway should be located on a separate computer (not a domain controller) with memory, or even a powerful workstation.
Monitor and optimize on-premises data gateway performance | Microsoft LearnPoint out that by default, gateways do background processing before returning data, which may degrade performance
Best Regards,
Xianda Tang
