Migration of user accounts from Previous Organization to New one

Team,

Need an urgent step by step assistance to migrate all the user accounts (after a domain change post merger i.e. post merger user was changed from xyz@abc.com to xyz@zzz.com) from previous organization to the new Organization without impacting the current Power BI setup post merger.

Best Regards

Hi Team,

Do you guys have any resolution/approach for the same? We are thinking to go with the Microsoft partner as the last resort.

Hi, @ajith_up

Maybe you can check the following links. These documents covers the process of moving users, organizational units, and groups from one domain to another.

Thanks for the reply. But as I see, the requirement is not on the AD side, IT team has already moved all the users to the new domain. The issue is on the Power BI side. When we go to Admin portal -> Users -> O 365 -> Active users -> they are still showing old email addresses. They are still able to login to Power BI using that address. But we want to show the new email/domain for users under Active Users list and they should be able to login using the new domain without any impact in thier Power BI contents. Whatever they were able to access inside Power BI using old credentials should now be accessible with this new credentials/domain (entity) to which we have moved post merger. Is there any way to change their login credentials to the new domain (for all 500 users) without impacting their power BI resources to which they have access?
