Hello All,
The company I work for has multiple ways of storing data (dont ask me why lol).
I have to create a automated report with three different documents. 2 Excel files (SQL server are required to use as they are automated reports) and one Smartsheet. Now i was reading up on how to blend documents together and know its possible to transform two excels, blend them together and just delete and add what is needed.
My Question is, Can I blend Excel and Smartsheet together to have an Automated report? Will it work if I transform all the files in to one and remove the columns not required and add in the additional forumulas required to mimic a report that is manually done at the moment.
If you need more information / details, please let me know.
Please and Thank you!
Best,
Daniel

Hi, @Dklein
You can blend Excel and Smartsheet data to create automated reports.
The Smartsheet Live Data Connector tool allows you to link Smartsheet data with Excel. It enables you to extract data from Smartsheet into Excel for further analysis and reporting.
Microsoft Excel | Smartsheet
Use Power Query in Excel to transform and merge data from multiple sources, including Excel files and Smartsheets. You can clean, filter, and merge data as needed. You can check the following Link:

If you need to automate the export of data from Smartsheet to Excel, Smartsheet's Data Shuttle can help. It allows you to schedule periodic data transfers from Smartsheet to Excel
