Link to an SQL database via DirectQuery

Hallo,

when I connect my SQL Database via DirectQuery in PowerBI Desktop (My System is a Power BI Report Server) so I can not create a measure etc.

Many menu items are roughened.

How to fix the problem?

Hey there,

You should be able to create measures using the majority of the out-of-the-box SSAS functions, some of them are unavailable for direct query against a sql query.
