How will users edit the report in Power BI report server - Access and Client related?

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    1. If the client already have installed the desktop, it will prompt you open the report in desktop. 

     

     

    2. When the client open the report in the desktop, to make sure the data can be refreshed successfully, the user needs to go to Data source Settings to verify valid crendetial.

Thanks for the inputs. Please let us know if it is possible to edit the report online using reporting services i.e., without using Power BI Desktop in Power BI Report Server 2017 Nov version. we have such an option for power BI Cloud and it would be very useful if we have it for Power BI Report Server.
