Accessibility issue in Power BI report server 2023 for grouped elements
Hi All, We have recently upgraded our Power BI reporting server to Version1.16.8420.13742 (January 2023) . We are facing an issue regarding the tab order for report elements in the reporting server. The tab order defined while developing the report in Power BI desktop (jan 2023) works as intended when the elements(slicers,text boxes etc.) are not grouped, In Desktop application, Power BI service and Reporting server. However, when we have grouped elements the tab order doesn't work as intended and is random. In the desktop application and power Bi service it works fine but not in the reporting server. Steps to replicate the scenario: Page 1 with Individual elements present without any grouping, Tab order defined under selection view for individual elements Page 2 with few elements logically grouped, Tab order defined under selection view for individual elements and groups. Uploading the report to Power BI reporting server and using keyboard to navigate Please could you help us on the same, on whether it's a known issue or any solution to resolve the same.differences between powerbi.com and report server?
Hi please excuse the double posting in both these forums, but i am just trying to get an idea of the main differences between using only the on prem solution vs the cloud in terms of functionality. The differences i have so far are the following, is there anything else you can add to this? Hi, thanks for the update! it includes very good changes but im having a problem trying to sync slicers. When i add a date slicer to all my report pages and then sync the widget works perfectly in PBIDesktop, but when i upload the report to report server the functionality is lost. The same is happening with hidden pages which are shown. My PBIRS version is 1.2.6648.38132 (March 2018). I would like to know if it only happens to me or we all have the same inconvenience ...in that case what could be causing it? edit: Bookmarks aren´t working, here is the chrome console message when i click on a "Link" (attachment)
Power BI Report Server and report filter on App
Hi all, I have installed the Power BI Report Server on-premisis and I have developed a report with a "Report Level Filter". I connected my iPad with the Power BI Report Server on-premisis but I can't see the icon that permit to use the filter. How can enable the "Report level Filter" on my App with last version of Power BI Report Server? Regards
Extranet access for Report Builder and/or Report Server Desktop
Hi there, We are in the process of deploying Report Server and configuring for extranet access with integration into WAP/ADFS 2016. An assumption I stupidly made was that our external customers would be able to use Report Builder and Report Server Desktop to connect to our on-prem Report Server and create their own reports. Initial tests show that this might not be possible, but could be an error in our configuration - is this functionality supported, or can reports only be created on the internal on-prem network? Any help/advice greatfully received. Cheers Tim
