How to restrict data while importing into desktop?

I have 3 dimensions and 1 fact table with 10Millions records, when I imported 10M records into the desktop it is not responding and running very slow. Is there any way to restrict data before importi...

If it is SQL, you can enter SQL code by going to Advanced when you connect.

I am connecting to Teradata but I have multiple tables. The advanced table works for a single table, right?
