How to hide sharing menu from the external user

Hi,

I need to have external users view this report.  As part of it, we have Power BI ( Pro) and then I have enabled Power BI B2B to external users. External user is assigned to Pro. In actual production ,we plan to have Premium and the external user wont be assigned any license. When I created a pagianted report and then assigned this user to the app, the user is able to see few things in the menu like Embed, Generate Link and Enable Preview Options. The user is not liking this option. So, I need a way to disable these. How can I achieve this ? Please suggest.

Once they are guest users they will see the same UI adornments as your internal users.

we have a production tenant which is premium. I am doing this proof of concept on another tenant which only has Pro. hence, I needed Pro for the external user.

For external b2b using power bi, I thought the tenant having premium should suffice.

Just checked the documetation, it looks like the end user can be given fabric free license. ?

What the documentation doesn't make clear is that you need to invite those external users as guests into your AAD, which makes them pseudo internal users that indeed do not need a Pro licenses. But they have to authenticate with the new credentials.

yes, that is the plan to have them as guest users.

but that shouldn't have the menus show up like this?

none of this is possible.  You will NOT be able to purchase Premium capacities, and external users WILL need a Pro license.
