Getting Error while uploading the report to Power BI server (March 2018 Version)

Hello,

 I created the report using Impala connection  (Direct Query) the Power BI desktop. While  uploading the report to Power BI Report server (March Version). I am geting the below Error Message

 

Power BI Report Server Version:  1.2.6648.38132 (Build 15.0.2.378)

Power BI Desktop Version: 2.56.5023.1043 64-bit (March 2018)

      Can you please tell me when Power BI  report server (on-prem) going to support the Impala connector.

      BTW from Power BI desktop March 2018 . We are able to connect the impala connector (Direct Query) but not able to upload the reports

        Unfortunately I should say things are not changed almost 1 year after. I can create a desktop dashborad with impala direct query but I cannot publish for the same error you are getting. Version Jan2020.

        Please Microsoft let us know how to deal with this stuff.
