Hello guys,
I am new to PowerBI and our requirement is to generate reports leveraging PowerBI (i.e generating report [PDF] as per template provided once a user clicks on button in JSP of web-based java application).
In order to fulfill above what is the best possible way to connect to Report Server from on-prem java based application and provide inputs or data to generate the report in UI.
Currently the input data is queried from Oracle database and set in POJO classes.
Hello, did you find a solution for this?
We are in a similar situation> Trying to invoke a report/essentials down load a report from Java application. We are able to work it using basic http url but we are trying to find a way to get a report using restful client. For that 1. Does power BI Server has a default restful controller , if so how to get the path ? From Web I found something like http://hostname/Reports/PowerBIReports but it doesn't work . Appreciate any ideas or thoughts on how to download canned reports from Java. Power BI Server is hosted on on-prem.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I know little about this. But I find something may help you. Please check:
