I am having a strange problem with some on-prem Power BI reports in one of our environments. When we attempt to refresh the reports, we are getting an error stating the server was unavailable:
OData: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable. (Service Unavailable). The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
The strange part is this: If I look at the current processes in SQL Server, I can see it running the queries for the reports. So it is obviously connecting - there are no other reports or processes that would be running against the database in question. Was just wondering if anyone had seen this issue and hopefully had a fix.
Hi @cphite ,
Based on your description, I think it might be helpful to refer to a similar solution as below. If the problem still persists, please give feedback even.
Solved: HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. error ... - Microsoft Power BI Community

Just to add some additional information, if I go to the OData sources on the SSRS site, I can preview the data on each of them; so the data sources are valid, no issue with where they're pointed, security, etc. It is only when I try to refresh the report itself that this error occurs.
