I am on the October 2017 Power BI Report Server.
In the RSManagement log I see this eror repeated every 10 seconds although with a difference requestId value each time
2018-01-11 09:11:39.9747|ERROR|5|One or more errors occurred.| RequestID = s_5a246169-0de8-48ad-a95f-890453db8f75
When I run a profiler trace I can see this in the trace at the same 10 second interval:
User Error Message
Error 201
Severity 16
State 4
Procedure or function 'SetConfigurationInfoValue' expects parameter '@ConfigValue', which was not supplied.
Is this a bug?
Hi @niallhannon,
Based on my research, I didn't find the cause to this error message. Also, I checked in my RSManagement log file, I didn't see such error.
@Seth_C_Bauer, @mgmeyer do you have any thought about this problem? Appreciate for your help.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
Also, this was a 2014 reportserver database that I restored onto a new sql 2017 server and then pointed Power BI Report Server to that database, which then upgraded it to 2017 Report Server BI.
So if you are testing a clean install of 2017 it may not be the same scenario. It could be something related to the the upgrade?
I got exactly the same message with exactly the same frequence and i see no way to avoid it. Did you find a solution ?
