Hello!
I have the following situation:
We had a planned update of the application servers of Power BI Report Server (we have 2 of servers). Now we have these issues with Report Server:
Server 1
a) When opening some reports, the following error occurs: "An error occured within the report server database. This may be due to a connection failure, timeout or low disk condition within the database." Some reports open fine.
b) Scheduled refresh began to work strangely and update reports more often than specified in the schedule. For example, scheduled refresh has update every 5 minutes, but in fact updates every 1 minute.
Server 2
When trying to open report on Report Server or go to the settings of the report (on the RS as well) the following error occurs:
And when trying to upload the report, the following error occurs:
Could anybody please tell me where the problem is, or where should we look?
Thank you!
Hi @Katebrk ,
From the error message, the issue is caused by the connection to report server database. Would you please show us detailed error message from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Report Server\PBIRS\LogFiles?
