We have a user who has a PowerBI Report/Dashboard that connects to a SharePoint folder, more specifically, an excel document. There's a column that shows Open/Closed status, and she would like to know how to get an email notification triggered every time someone changes a status from Closed to open or adds a new row of data. I feel like there's a better way (SharePoint List w/ PowerAutomate), but wanted to know if anyone uses PowerBI to accomplish what we're trying to do...
Power BI has no functionality for that. You don't really need Power Automate either - a simple sharepoint subscription "on every file change" should do the trick, even if it may provide a couple of false positives.
