Dynamic Parameters in the Report Server URL

Hi All,

I have created a dashboard using Desktop RS Version. I have deployed it to our report server

http://pwrbi.corp.mycompany.com/ReportsProd/powerbi/Application%20Dashboards/riglevelreport

This Dashboard has 10 pages (tabs). There are 45 different end users , but the dashboard is the exact same one. This dashboard is embedded into an application. So if USER1 Clicks on the link that person must see data pertaining to RIG1

USER2>RIG2

USER3>RIG3

..... USER45>RIG45

I looked up some links, but each one is manual like this one

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-hyperlinks-in-tables?tabs=powerbi...

Is there a dynamic way of doing this?

Thanks

If this is a security requirement (as in User1 should only be able to see RIG1 and no other values) then you could implement row level security Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

There is a technique often called "Dynamic Row level security" where you create a table in your mode that has a mapping of the usernames to the values they are allowed to see. This article Dynamic Row Level Security with Power BI Made Simple - RADACAD explains how this can be set up.
