Good Afternoon,
Recently i noticed that one Report which i is using direct query is not refreshing the data in the Report Server. But when i open the report in Power BI and refresh it the query works, but not in the Report Server. I think this may have started after i have upgraded the Report Server to the new version (August 2018). I already have done some seach but haven't yet found the cause of this problem...
Do you have an idea of what may be the problem? May it be related with the ew version of the report server?
Best Regards,
RoCo
Solved! Go to Solution.
Confirm that you are using a data source type that is supported for refresh: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/data-sources
Otherwise, double check the credentials used for direct query have not expired or are still correct. Lastly, you can look at the report server log/trace files to see if there is a more specific error as to what is happening.
