Hello,
I could not able to see the Date Slicer function (Relative,Before,After and Between) with March 2018 PBI Desktop version whereas the same i could replicate in the Oct 2017 version
Source: SSAS
Connection: Live
March Version
Oct Version
Scenario:
Connect SSAS Live Connection.
Drag and Drop the Slicer . Add Date Column.
Select the Drop Down near to the clear selections
March Version : 2.56.5023.1043 64-bit (March 2018)
Report Server Version 1.2.6660.39920 (Build 15.0.2.389),
Its because you are using a live connection. date is not detected in a slicer if its live
The same functionality is working in Oct 2017 version. As long as the datatype is "Date" it should work. In my case, the Calendar Date Data type is "Date"
make sure that format is date
It is a date Format. The same is working Oct 2017 Version but not in MArch 2018 Version
Can you share your dataset preferably PBI?
I dont have any problems with it. I transferd all 2017 october files to 2018 february files with no problems. It shows all options: Between, Before, After, List, Dropdown, Relative.
Same issue. Thanks for posting.
