Adhoc reporting in Power BI
Hi KarthikCapz,
Power BI does support Adhoc Reporting and you can link to many data types such as CSV, SQL Server etc.
The link below talks you through how to set up a one off report:

I hope this helps.
Hi jdene,
The solution is good. But we have a different requirement.
My client will send any list of fields (adhoc) they require and we have to send the report. How it can be done?
Is there any way, once i copy those fields and paste it in a file, the listed fields should be generated as a report?

Hi KarthikCapz.
Do you mean that you would like Power BI to automatically set up the charts for you without any intervention?

Exactly. The fields will change dynamically.

I don't think that is possible at the moment.
However a work around could be to set up some standard charts and amend the column names in from your CSV/Excel file to reflect the field names in Power BI.
