ALM with reverse direction doesn't work

Hi all 

I am trying to use ALM tookkit but in a reverse direction . meaning that the Source file will be the power BI dataset in a workspace and the target is my Power BI destop file. 

It detect all the changes but when I validate that I recive the follwoing error :

Anyone can help me to understand what went wronge , and if doing this is not possible this way how could I upload the latest change to my Power BI datasets to my power BI desktop

There are only a limited number of write operations that are supported for external tools. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-external-tools#supported-write-op... and it looks like you are trying to make unsupported changes. 

 

Unfortunately there are some changes like enabling incremental refresh which mean that you cannot download changes from the service to desktop. Hopefully this will be fixed over time, but at the moment there is no good work around to get the model back into desktop. You could maybe download the model as a .bim file using Tabular Editor, but then you would have to do future updates and changes with Tabular Editor.
