importing excel - assuming cell content based on previous cell

Question

You can directly import the Excel file to Power BI Desktop, then fill down the column A in Power BI Desktop query editor. If the method doesn't help you, please post expected result&nbsp; based on above sample data here.Regards,Lydia

Hi Lynda,&nbsp;What you described = manual.Hitting the click fill down = manual.

Anonymous,I haven't found any methods that can be used to automatically upload excel file to Power BI Desktop and replace the null values without any manual&nbsp;intervention.&nbsp;Also, the fill down feature is more convenient&nbsp;than that you right click each row and replace it with former value.Regards,Lydia
