Hi i have a question.
Editing Source Tables Extending Columns: How to make sure that the source file still works after expanding it by one column of content? or works again and no error message arises?
now if i edit the excelfile with new columns i get a failure. "
The key does not correspond to any row in the table
" Is it possible to change the key?

Could you please describe more details about what changes you make in the excel file and share the original excel file here?
In Power BI Desktop query editor, you can click on each step under "APPLIED STEPS" and then check which step throws error message after you make changes in excel file.
