cannot view uploaded excel file or any data in it
New User. Have followed instructions to upload Excel file precisely, file name appears in Reports & Dataset but when i open it cannot view the spreadsheet or any data in it. Only a greyed out Table Visualisation appears. Directions please? Thank you.

Can you post a screen shot? You should be able to click on the dataset and start clicking fields and see them come up on the canvas. Perhaps you did not wait long enough? Sometimes when uploading files it takes the service a little bit to get everything uploaded and ready.
