Utilizing SSAS Tabular Model with Power BI

Hello,

So I have been experimenting with using Analysis Services with Power BI for a week now.

I have noticed that my hierarchical models are not appearing the BI. The hierachies are mainly based on using the RELATED() function to connect to other tables then developing the hierachies in Analysis Services.

My basic questions:

Does Power BI support SSAS Tabular model hierarchies?

If so, is BI particular about the types of hierarchies supported?

Many Thanks,

BC

@B_Caron I don't think SSAS tabular hierarchy are supported yet however I see number of ideas supporting that posted already here you can vote for them to be able to push. However you can create hierarchies inside power bi desktop if you've imported data from SSAS tabular model.
