Text size in Advanced Editor

It's super anoying having to resize the text in the Advanced Editor every time I open it - it would be great if the text/zoom could be persistent, even if only for the session.

Also, keyboard shorcuts would be great!

...is there a feature request forum for PQ?

Hi @Dazzathedrummer ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community and sharing your thoughts.

Unfortunately, the text size and zoom settings in the Power Query Advanced Editor don't persist after closing it they reset each time. This has been a common pain point for many users.

For now, a workaround is to adjust the zoom using Ctrl + Scroll or Ctrl + "+" / "-" while the editor is open as mentioned by @SundarRaj , but this won't stick across sessions.

Regarding keyboard shortcuts the Advanced Editor supports basic ones (like Ctrl + C for copy, Ctrl + V for paste, and Ctrl + Z for undo), but there's no dedicated shortcut set for Power Query's editor specifically.

If you'd like to see this improved, you can submit a feature request or upvote existing ones via the Power Query Ideas section on the official Microsoft Fabric Ideas forum as mentioned by @bhanu_gautam :

Hi @Dazzathedrummer ,

If you use CTRL + SHIFT + ( + / - ), you'll be able to Zoom in and Zoom out respectively. If you don't close the Adv Editor, it'll stay zoomed in / zoomed out. Thanks!
