Tables from different SQL databases

Hi!

I would like to know if it is possible to add a table to the file im using that is from a SQL database different then the one im using. They have ralationship tho!

You can without any trouble.

However, if you want Query Folding to work, you will need to create a view in Database 1 to the table you need from Database 2, then connect to that view in DB1. Query Folding will not work with multiple databases. This can impact efficiency and break issues with Direct Query if you are doing that.

But if none of that is important, absolutely, that is what the M in Power Query language is for - Mashup. Combine tables from databases, files, spreadsheets, SharePoint, etc all in one big model!
