Recently, I wrote some APIs with Spring Rest in order to get a json result page for Power BI data source. I wrote this small piece of code to do this job.
I am sharing it with you, expectating that it will help everyone who have the same issue.
Instructions:
You must change the URL as your need.
The result is a collection of embedded documents that you need to expand to new lines, then you will expand records to columns.
let
func = (_url) =>
let
Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents(_url)),
l = Record.ToTable(Source[_embedded]),
hasNext = Record.HasFields(Source[_links], "next"),
result = if hasNext then Table.Combine({l, @func(Source[_links][next][href])}) else l
in
result,
List = func("http://kian159:8090/api/fato-venda?page=0&size=1000")
in
List
