I have a Sharepoint Web Page which has >1000 rows. When I hit 1000 records I receive an error "Limit of 1000 values reached". Is there any way I can lift that restriction ?

You can firstly load data from SharePoint List to SQL Server using SQL Server Integration Services by following the instructions in the article below. Then connect to SQL Server from Power BI Desktop, for more details about using Power BI Desktop to work with SQL Server, please take a look at this blog.

Seems like you are hitting the 1000 item limitation of the SharePoint list service, see this thread:
