Hi all,
The scenario, I have a SharePoint Folder which contains two .xlsx files. The two files have different data structures. When attempting to do a direct load (via Get Data) an error is thrown due to not being able to union the different structures - so I believe.
Is this what you guys are experiencing?
The workaround I found was not to load directly but to go into edit mode and for one of the queries 'set as new query' on the binary. Now the two files have their own queries. Navigate the queries to the Table link then double click to expand the table for each query. From this point I am then able to load the files to Power BI without errors.
Thought I'd let you know my workaround for those who are having trouble. Do let me know if there is another/correct solution to loading (directly) multiple files with different structures.
Cheers,
Dan.
Hi @Anonymous,
