Anyone have tips for standing up a test VM in Azure to try out the connector?
I've provisioned the MSFT provided SQL2014 instance and am adding AD to it.
Then going to put the connector on it. Anyone already know if this will/won't work?

Yeah I have done in many times. You just need to make sure that your VM is domain joined, domain synced with Azure AD and VM has internet access.

Yep, very smooth. Created a new domain to match my Power BI tenent so didn't even have to do the domain sync. Very straight forward...
