Hi,
I want to create a sharepoint folder connection in order to update the data in a Power Bi dashboard. In my sharepoint sites I have 3 folders, and each of them contain different files. I do these steps in power query:
Here I am prompted to enter the base URL of my sharepoint site (it is named folder though...), how can I get the URL I need to connect to my "Test1" folder? The folder structure can be seen below. The "Home" URL is: https://sites.XXXX.com/sites/LEKNR2.
The connector connects at the site level, you can then filter down the files to a specific folder using the "path" column in the returned data table.
If your files have substantially different structures and you're not trying to combine them in a single table, you may need to do multiple connections to the same site to bring them all in.
If you have recently started exploring Fabric, we'd love to hear how it's going. Your feedback can help with product improvements.
A new Power BI DataViz World Championship is coming this June! Don't miss out on submitting your entry.
