I have mostly figured out how to connect files and models in PowerBI, but I have an issue with files on OneDrive. I can't figure out how to bring in data from an excel file on onedrive into my data model using PowerQuery. If I put in the address of the file, it states the following error:
"DataSource.Error: The downloaded data is HTML, which is not the expected type. The URL may be wrong, or you may not have provided the right credentials to the server."
I have to be able to source this data entirely from the cloud.

This was due to an out of date version of PowerQuery. A more recent update has made pulling from data on Onedrive easier.
