Missing data when using Power Query

I scan a one page invoice using Adobe scan app and saved it as a pdf in my laptop.  I want to extract portion of this pdf file using power query on excel but appears that there is none data since on data preview it appears that " No items selected from this Preview". What seems to be the problem ? Thanks in advance

your file seems to be unreadable to PQ. As I checked your scanned pdf is not in simple format. For PQ to read pdf file, it should be simple more like in table format. I suggest you try to convert your file to xlsx then try to feed the file in PQ editor. 

FYI: to convert and edit your pdf file you can use the adobe acrobat online free tool. it works. but you need to edit a little bit.
