What type of data were you going after? I've had some issues with Power BI's refresh, no doubt. In my case I was going after an Excel file on a network file system. Also had issues with SharePoint Online.
@Greg_Deckler I have same problem with sharepoint online. I get this error: "The credential stored in the cloud is missing." Eidting credential in Schedule Refresh returns an error as well. Did you have same issue? If yes could you please let me know how did you solve that?
Thanks
I have the same issue like you. do you have any update?
Thanks for your answer
I have an excel file with 2 data models from power query on sharepoint online onedrive business.
This excel retrive data from an on premise sql server where install succefull microsoft power bi personal getway.
I have set in data connections in excel file authentication settings to none.
When set username and password fro getway for refresh in power bi get this message
Also have this in failed log
Processing error The credential stored in the cloud is missing
you have to re-enter login/password information in the service (it's not enough to have credentials stored in the model). right click on your data set->schedule refresh->Manage Datasources->edit credentials
Hello
Change the authentication settings in Excel file in Data Connections to Use the authentiicated user's account and looks work fine
If i have problem again inform you
