I have a requirement where, for every new customer, a SharePoint site and two lists are created automatically through Power Automate during the onboarding process. This part is already working.
Each customer site needs to display a dashboard/report built from those two lists (similar to the screenshot attached)
. Since each customer has a separate site and separate lists, we want to automatically generate the report as well, instead of manually designing a Power BI report for every customer.
Is it possible to automate Power BI report creation and binding it to the newly created SharePoint lists? If so, what is the recommended approach or architecture to achieve this?
Any guidance on automating report generation in this setup would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @Muzammil_Abdul,
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Fabric Community Forum. Also, thanks to @ChielFaber , for those inputs on this thread.
Your SharePoint site and list creation is fine, but Power BI does not allow automatic creation of a brand-new report design for every new customer through Power Automate. What you can do instead is create one common Power BI template report using parameters for Site URL or List name, and then during onboarding, your flow can update the parameter with the new customer’s SharePoint site, refresh the dataset, and embed the same report into the new site. This way you don’t have to redesign the report every time, and still each customer will see only their own data.
Hope the above provided information help you resolve the issue, if you have any further concerns or queries, please feel free to reach out to us.

I don't think there's an auto creation PowerBI report possibility.
You could parameterize the source in the PowerBI file (through powerquery). Then you would only need to change the parameter for every new customer and you could re-use the same base pbix.
