The current Google Analytics Connector appears to be using an API that is EOL.
Microsoft, please, we need the Google Analytics Data API as an official connector ASAP.

Hi @JoshLevent
According to Change history 2023 release wave 1 | Microsoft Learn, the feature of Google Analytics 4 connector has been moved to the next release wave plan. There is no ETA currently.
As a temporary workaround, you may try some third-party connectors. Here is a similar thread for your reference: Google Analytics Concector - Support for GA4? - Microsoft Fabric Community

2.0 (beta) has been added to the Google Analytics Connector at source (1.0 being the original UA and or previous default version and 2.0 being related to newer GA4 properties).
This is where you can add/see all created GA4 properties when selecting 2.0 however I am seeing a field 'description' error when wanting to select the desired GA4 property - so you cannot load in any dimensions/metrics to choose.
Perhaps being in BETA this is still being developed and not working correctly yet?

I've been experiencing the same error, and it hasn't been easy finding posts like this about the problem. Does anyone know if this fix has been confirmed to release with Wave 2? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/release-plan/2023wave2/
Dear Dan,
Are you speaking of the issue that Marcel is facing? In that case, I have not heard of anyone else with this issue. I suggest you attempt to describe the issue in as much detail as possible with screenshots and code. Even if they don't always reply, I assume the developers are reading these forums. I've had a few issues solved by an update after I posted details here 🙂
GA4 support was added unexpectedly at the end of July and seems to be working for most users.

Hello, Josh.
Yes. I documented my specific errors on this post: GA4 Connector Bug - Microsoft Fabric Community
I suspect this won't be fixed until a new release is published in Wave 2, hopefully it will be released sooner than later. Microsoft Power Platform 2023 release wave 2 plan overview | Microsoft Learn
