Get data function

Hi,

Does anybody know why when I use the Get Data function in excel I only see a limited number of Oracle tables compared to using the same function in Power Bi where I see all the tables? Excel 58 tables versus 325 in Pbi.

I am using office 365 but my company is still on windows 7 and I'm wondering if this is the problem.

Thanks

Nick

It could be. Can you validate with someone else in the org that has Windows 10? If you are on Windows 7, Office 365 stopped updating to new features/fixes in Jan 2020. They might be sending out security fixes, but nothing else.

Can you also confirm those are all tables? It could be Excel is seeing tables, but not Views. I've not seen that issue with Excel vs Power BI on SQL Server, but I know the Oracle driver is a bit different.
