Excel and "Edit Queries"

Hi,

 

We have an excel file in Microsoft teams where our sales perons update on a daily basis. I have manage to get this into PowerBI and make reports and dashboards. But I want to work with the data the same way as when I have a file on my desktop, here I uploade it into PowerBI which give me the possibility to work with "Edit Queries".

 

When i try to open PowerBI Desktop and press "Get Data" and "PowerBi services" and get the data i have in Microsoft Teams, the "Edit Queries" turns grey (untouchable).

 

Is this not possible?

    ari1,

    It is not possible to use "Edit Queries" when connecting to Power BI Service dataset in Power BI Desktop. You can create measures, create visuals in this case.
