Drilldown in "Edit Queries" - What does it do?

Hello

Just a question.. there is an option for "Drilldown" when we right click a particular text column under Edit Queries.

Screenshot below -

 

What is the purpose of this drilldown?

I tried to use it and it creates a single column list.

    In case if you want to create a List for the selected value, this option can be used. This will create a list with signle value( of the selected cell content).

      This could also be done by going to Transform -> Convert to List. So, I was wondering what additional Drilldown does? Regards

        Right, convert to list converts the whole column to list with all values in that column, whereas here that particular value/cell content will be the only value in the cretaed list.
