Dataflow publish failed

Hi there,

I have created two new analytical dataflows in an unmanaged solution (these published fine). The dataflow logic between the two are basically the same - i'm using the SharePoint folder as a data source and then filtering the results on different folders.

I have added these two dataflows to my solution and when deploying to the target environment, only one was able to be published.

Originally both failed, so I went ahead and re-created the dataflows in the source environment + unmanaged solution, re-deployed and now one is failing to publish.

I don't want to have to continually re-create the dataflow if it fails to publish but I could not find another way around this.

The error is very generic and not helpful at all;

Dataflow publish failed

Something went wrong

Reuqest ID:

When I edit the dataflow in the target environment, I can see the Power Query queries and the resulting data appears fine, hitting "Publish" returns the same error as above.

Any idea?

Exactly, the same problem.

Any solution?
